Jakarta, 16 Januari 2026 — Film Esok Tanpa Ibu (Mothernet) produksi BASE Entertainment. Beacon Film, Refinery Media, dan di dukung oleh Singapore Film Commission (SFC). Serta Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) secara resmi terpilih. Film ini masuk dalam nominasi Festival Film Tempo 2025. Sebuah festival film tahunan yang menilai film-film Indonesia berkualitas.

Di Festival Film Tempo, Esok Tanpa Ibu (Mothernet)

Di Festival Film Tempo, Film ini meraih 4 nominasi, termasuk untuk Film Unggulan. Ketiga nominasi lainnya adalah Aktris Utama Unggulan (Dian Sastrowardoyo), Aktor Utama Unggulan (Ali Fikry), dan Penulis Skenario Unggulan (Diva Apresya, Gina S. Noer, Melarissa Sjarief).

Terpilihnya Film ini dalam Festival Film Tempo 2025 juga membuktikan bahwa FETI memiliki kualitas artistik yang segar dan berbeda dari judul-judul film Indonesia yang tayang di bioskop. Selain itu, secara kekuatan tema dan cerita FETI (Mothernet) juga sangat relevan dengan perkembangan sosial yang terjadi saat ini.

“Terima kasih kepada Festival Film Tempo 2025 yang telah memilih FETI (Mothernet) dalam empat nominasi. Ini sangat berarti bagi perjalanan film kami, dan semoga bisa menjadi salah satu ruang untuk memperpanjang ruang pembicaraan tentang isu yang ada di film ini, tentang relasi keluarga dan bagaimana peran teknologi di dalam kehidupan manusia saat ini,” ujar produser film Esok Tanpa Ibu (Mothernet) Shanty Harmayn.

Sebelumnya, film Esok Tanpa Ibu (Mothernet) juga telah berkompetisi di program Vision Asia Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) 2025 di Korea Selatan. Di festival tersebut, sekaligus menjadi momen world premiere. Selanjutnya, film ini juga telah melakukan Indonesian Premiere dan berkompetisi di JAFF (Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival) 2025 pada Desember. Film ini turut berkompetisi di program Indonesian Screen Awards.

Capaian Artistik Dan Penerimaan Secara Kritis Film

Kini, dengan terpilihnya Esok Tanpa Ibu (Mothernet) di Festival Film Tempo 2025 juga membuktikan capaian artistik dan penerimaan secara kritis film yang menjadi kolaborasi internasional.

 

“Bagi kami, Festival Film Tempo juga bisa menjadi ruang diskursus yang mempertemukan antara sineas, penonton, dan juga kritikus. Tiga di antara berbagai elemen ekosistem perfilman yang penting untuk pertumbuhan perfilman Indonesia,”
kata produser dan pemeran film Esok Tanpa Ibu (Mothernet) Dian Sastrowardoyo.

 

Sebelum tayang secara serentak di bioskop mulai 22 Januari 2026, FETI (Mothernet) juga akan tayang lebih dulu di 10 kota di Indonesia, yakni: Jakarta, Bandung, Samarinda, Makassar, Malang, Tangerang, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Medan, dan Palembang pada Sabtu, 17 Januari dan Minggu, 18 Januari 2026.

Sinopsis Film Esok Tanpa Ibu

Rama (Ali Fikry) yang tak sejalan dengan Ayahnya (Ringgo Agus Rahman), dan hanya dekat dengan Ibunya (Dian Sastrowardoyo) harus menghadapi situasi sulit ketika Ibunya jatuh koma. Saat mulai terpuruk, Rama menemukan bantuan tak terduga dalam i-BU: sebuah AI ciptaan temannya yang membuat Rama bisa melihat wajah, suara, dan bahkan menjadikan AI tersebut alat bantu untuk merangsang kerja otak Ibunya. Bisakah Rama mengobati kesepian dan menyembuhkan Ibunya lewat bantuan AI?
